What is smoke alarm fitting and testing?
Did you know as of October 2015 it became a legal requirement to have a working smoke alarm on each storey of a rental property as well a working carbon monoxide detector? Failure to adhere to this could result in a fine of up to £5,000. We can supply and install your smoke alarms and provide a certificate of the date they were installed which can then be signed by your tenant. This gives you that extra evidence should the worst case scenario arise. If you have student accommodation or multi story flat building with mains supplied alarms, we can arrange weekly, fortnightly or monthly tests which will then be documented for your peace of mind and safety of your tenants.
